One of my cats died recently. And it felt like half of my live died with her. This was very weird to me because i lost a lot of family to age or cancer and it was never this hart. I guess most people won't understand this deep relationships one can build with a pet. And I can understand if people say it's unhealthy. But pets can touch your heart and soul in a way that most people will never achieve.

This is literally true.... I have really bad depression, in my darkest time, the literal only reason I didn't kill myself was because I was sitting on my bed sobbing, making up my mind to do it and my sad man weasel of a ferret got up on the bed and flopped down beside me and soon my two girls were dancing around the room playing and I realized I just couldn't leave them. What would happen to them? They literally saved my life. Ironically all 3 of them have passed now, but I have other ferrets, I feel like I owe them the best life I can give them.
